Peace. Tranquility. Solitude. For most of us, the thought of winter conjures up images of cold extremities, snarled traffic, and longing for the warmth of spring. Yet if you've ever walked through the exhilarating silence of a deep snow in the widerness, you will never forget the experience. The clean, crisp air and the complete absence of the buzz and chatter that makes up our daily lives will set one's senses ablaze. The perfect ending to such an experience? Stepping into a warm cabin and placing your feet next to the fire. Mmmm....suddenly winter doesn't sound all that bad.
